S. Patrick Skiles

Patrick is a lifelong resident of St. Mary Parish and the Tri-City area. A graduate of Berwick High School where he met his wife, Emily, Patrick attended Florida State University where he graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science. Thereafter, Patrick obtained his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University Law School.

In 2004, Patrick joined Scott Ramsey to form the foundation for what is now Ramsey, Skiles, Streva & Bourgeois, Ltd. Patrick’s primary focus is personal injury law, including auto accidents, premise liability, disability and worker’s compensation claims. Over the years, Patrick has handled numerous cases for his clients resulting in six figure settlements. In 2016, Patrick and Scott teamed to claim a $1.85 million jury verdict in St. Mary Parish. He has also cocounselled in cases which have settled in excess of $2 million. 

Patrick currently serves as the Vice President of the St. Mary Parish Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Louisiana, as well as Federal Court for the Western District, Eastern District and Middle District of Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Patrick also serves on several boards and committees for Central Catholic High School and Crossing Place Church.

Patrick and Emily have 3 daughters, Peyton, Hailey and Emma. In their spare time, Patrick and Emily enjoy traveling and spending time with their family and friends.
